How We Help Schools
We offer tailored services and consultation organized around six focus areas from the Community School model. We are focused on advancing evidence-based strategies for implementing the Community Schools model in the Tulsa area and other parts of Oklahoma.
Specifically, we help individual schools, school districts and stakeholders apply these strategies to create welcoming school-community hubs that engage, support and strengthen students, families and neighborhoods. We do this through consultation, training, and resource development, building effective school-community partnerships to meet student needs, and improving success through data-based decision making.
All of our services are provided by certified, licensed or expert field leaders operating within evidence- and results-based frameworks. Our mission is to support schools in building supportive learning environments through Community School strategies that increase every child’s chance for a successful future.
To support the growing movement of Community Schools across the nation, the Center for Community School Strategies also operates as a regional affiliate partner of the National Center for Community Schools, of the Children’s Aid Society in New York City.
